Primary healthcare services
provided by SMHC include routine general medical care
for all ages, including—medical examinations;
lab and diagnostic services; evaluation and management
of acute and chronic medical problems; podiatry; health
maintenance and disease prevention services. SMHC is
a comprehensive service provider. Services that are
not available on site such as specialty care are arranged
through the health center by referral to local physicians
and hospitals.
